Biography: <p>Dr. Erickstad joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in July 1983. Prior to joining Mid Dakota Clinic, he was Chief of the Family Practice Department at the U.S. Strategic Air Command Hospital at Grand Forks Air Force Base.</p> <p>A graduate of Bismarck High School, he received his doctor of medicine degree from the University of North Dakota. He completed his family practice residency at the UND Family Practice Center in Bismarck and became certified by the American Board of Family Practice in 1979.</p> <p>In addition to his Family Medicine duties, Dr. Erickstad has pediatric and minor surgical privileges. He is board-certified in emergency medicine, a field he has specialized in for some years.Dr. Erickstad is licensed to practice medicine in both North Dakota and Minnesota.</p>

Biography: <p>Dr. Hamar joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in July 2014. A specialist in Family Medicine, he is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.</p> <p>He received his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, AZ. He completed his residency at the University of North Dakota Center for Family Medicine.</p> <p>Dr. Hamar is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the National Golden Key Honor Society. His personal interests include hiking/backpacking, skiing (snow & water), and travel .</p>

Biography: <p>Dr. Seifert joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in October 1999, and practices at the Kirkwood Mall Clinic.</p> <p>Prior to joining Mid Dakota Clinic, she completed her residency in Family Practice at UND Family Practice Center, Bismarck. Dr. Seifert has a special interest in osteoporosis and serves on the board of the Mid Dakota Osteoporosis Center.</p> <p>Dr. Seifert received her medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. She completed her degree in biology with honors at Montana State University. She previously was a lab technician at the Energy and Environmental Research Center in Grand Forks and a research assistant at the University of Texas, Galveston.</p> <p>Dr. Seifert received the Family Physicians Research Award and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, ND Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, and North Dakota Medical Association. She is the recipient of the Pediatric Clinical Recognition Award, the Glascow Memorial Award, Mosby Book Award, and the Grand Forks Clinical Award. Dr. Seifert is licensed to practice family medicine in the state of North Dakota.</p>

Biography: <p>Dr. Traxinger joined the Family Medicine department at Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in August 2011.</p> <p>A native of Minot, ND, Dr. Traxinger's interest in the medical field began with her work experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at Trinity Nursing Home in Minot. She went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and forensic science from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, followed by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa. Dr. Traxinger completed a family medicine residency at the UND Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck in 2011.</p> <p>Dr. Traxinger is certified in BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She is licensed to practice family medicine in the state of North Dakota.</p>

Biography: <p>Dr. Kelly Longie joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in September 2008.&nbsp;A native of Tioga, ND, Dr. Longie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, where he also completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed his Family Medicine residency at the UND Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck and received the Best of the Best Award for Most Helpful Resident from St. Alexius Medical Center in March 2006.</p> <p>Certified in ATLS, ACLS and PALS, Dr. Longie is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. He is licensed to practice Family Medicine in the state of North Dakota.</p>

Biography: <p>Dr. Ryan Clauson joined Mid Dakota Clinic in May of 2018. He attended Medical School at the University of North Dakota where he also completed his Residency in Family Medicine. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has professional interests in chronic disease management and disease prevention and health management , providing personal comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. He also performs minor office-based procedures.&nbsp;</p> <p>Dr. Clauson is an Associate Professor for the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences Physician Assistant Program. He is also a member of the North Dakota Medical Association, the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Sixth District Medical Society.&nbsp;</p> <p>Dr. Clauson enjoys camping, cycling, golf, watching college hockey and spending time with his wife and their three children</p>

Biography: <p>Dr. Scherr joined Mid Dakota Clinic&nbsp; in July 1993. He is board-certified in Family Medicine.</p> <p>A native of Bismarck, Dr. Scherr is a recipient of the Phi Beta Kappa award and graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Dakota, where he also received his medical degree in 1990. He completed his family practice residency in Bismarck at the UND Family Practice Center. He has served as staff physician at Medcenter One and St. Alexius hospitals in Bismarck and Heartview Foundation.</p> <p>Dr. Scherr is a a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and its North Dakota affiliate. He is a commercial pilot who is a Certified Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) by the FAA and a Certified Medical Review Officer for the ND Department of Transportation. He is licensed to practice medicine and the specialty of Family Medicine in North Dakota.</p>

Biography: <p>Jason Moe, MD joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in March 2011 in conjunction with the grand opening of the TODAY Clinic.</p> <p>A native of Bismarck, Dr. Moe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology with Honors from North Dakota State University. He went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks, graduating in the top twenty percent of his medical class. Dr. Moe completed his family practice residency at the UND Family Practice Center in Bismarck, and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.</p> <p>Dr. Moe currently holds membership with the American Academy of Family Physicians and serves as a board member for the ND Academy of Family Physicians. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of North Dakota.</p>
