Biography: Nicolas Villa, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist on the team at Pioneer GI Clinic. He is dedicated to providing exceptional services to help restore a better quality of life to patients in Anchorage, Alaska.  Dr. Villa completed his residency and fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and received the McIntosh Award (given to the top resident). He went on to complete an advanced GI fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Villa sat on the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) Quality Committee for a three-year term from 2015-2018. At Pioneer GI Clinic, Dr. Villa's special interests are endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Barrett's esophagus ablation, endoluminal stenting, and endoscopic mucosal resection. His expertise in these advanced endoscopic techniques will allow a number of Alaska cancer patients to receive their care locally, for which they now travel to the lower 48. He also performs advanced colonoscopies and upper endoscopies and manages pancreatic and hepatobiliary diseases.

Biography: <p><strong>Ajay Pabby, MD</strong>&nbsp;joined MultiCare in 2017. Dr. Pabby completed his Medical Degree at Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He then went on to earn a Master of Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, where he also did a postdoctoral research fellowhship in Cancer Prevention and Control.</p> <p>Additionally, he went on to a fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Pabby is a board certified Gastroenterologist and joins the Rockwood Clinic &nbsp;Digestive Health Center.</p>
